This is a genuine and original specification Replacment Filter Pump manufactured by Aqua One for use with EcoStyle 32 and EcoStyle 37 aquarium models and will restore performance, should your filter pump have failed, or the performance have deteriorated.

12 month warranty

Every brand new Filter Pump for Ecostyle 32 & EcoStyle 37 is supplied complete with the impeller already installed, mains cable and UK spec. three pin plug, ready to get to work immediately in your aquarium. Your replacement Filter Pump should provide years of dutiful service under normal circumstances and as you'd expect from Aqua One, a full 12 month warranty is included with every filter pump. As ever, do be careful not to plug the filter pump in until it is completely submerged in your aquarium.

Filter Pump Maintenance

Once a week (or sooner if you notice reduced waterflow) check the filter pump impeller isn't obstructed with aquarium waste and that it can spin freely. Pipework should be checked once a month to ensure that there are no blockages restricting waterflow and it's also good policy to check the condition of the filter media pads on a regular basis as these can sometimes become clogged over time. Rinse Black sponges in a little aquarium water and replace Polymer Wool Pads as necessary, usually every 4 to 6 weeks.

Replacing the Filter Pump

Aqua One's filter pumps are really easy to replace. First of all disconnect the power supply, then remove the suction cups that hold the pump in place and take the pump out of your aquarium. If you are checking the impeller then clip off the impeller cover and check that aquarium debris isn't impeding the impeller. The filter pump impeller is magnetic and should also be reasonably easy to remove. Simply reverse the process to reinstall.
