Aqua One's Cut to Size Zeo Pad will suit almost any aquarium filter systems and is an ideal way to remove ammonia from aquarium water. Ammonia is secreted by all fish in their waste and is extremely toxic, even in low quantities. Aqua One's Zeo Pad is impregnated with the naturally occuring mineral Zeolite, which removes ammonia very efficiently from aquarium water, thereby protecting the health of your livestock.
As the name suggests the Cut to Size Zeo Pad is a single sheet of Zeolite impregnated foam that you cut to size yourself, to fit your particular application. The Zeo Pad is a convenient way of adding extra filtration and is also extremely good value as you'll normally get quite a number of uses out of just one sheet. Change every 4 weeks.

Cut to size pads are really economical in use and there's an ever growing range of them bringing chemical, biological and physical filtration to your aquarium setup. Many fishkeepers find that Cut to Size filter pads are much less messy than having to deal with loose filter media as well as easier to use in many filter set ups.
Under normal circumstances a Cut to Size Filter Pad will last a full 4 weeks in your aquarium setup, but this could vary slightly depending on your setup. There's nothing quite like adding fresh filter media to your filter system to improve water quality, but as ever if you have an established setup, don't change all the filter media at once. Rather, change filter media items one week apart to allow for colonisation of beneficial bacteria onto the new media elements.
