Aqua One's 411c Carbon Pad comprises Aqua One's highly activated Carbon gives saltwater it's final polish as it passes through the Marisys 240 filtration system, before returning to the aquarium. It's primary function is to clarify and purfiy aquarium water, removing odours and discolouration whilst maintaining waterflow through the filter system.

Change every 4 to 6 weeks

Unlike some of the other Marisys 240 filtration elements that are used alongside the 411c Carbon Pad such as the Sponge Filter Pads, the 411c Carbon Pad should be changed faily regularly in order to maintain high water quality, typically every 4 to 6 weeks. After this time, the Carbon is likely to have become fully saturated with pollutants and will therefore be ineffective.
